Appointment of New CFO

Manx Telecom Plc (AIM: MANX), the leading communication solutions provider on the Isle of Man, is pleased to announce the appointment of Iarla Hughes as Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Board with immediate effect. 

Iarla joins from International Aerospace Coatings LLP, where he has been Group Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for over 3 years. With more than 8 years' experience in the telecoms industry, Iarla previously held a General Manager position at Cable & Wireless Ireland before becoming Chief Financial Officer at Digicel Turks and Caicos. He spent a number of years in various senior finance roles at Cable and Wireless plc and Vodafone.

While at Caribbean telecoms provider Digicel, Iarla had financial responsibility for the purchase and integration of West Indies Video (WIV), a high-speed broadband and cable TV service in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
