Appointment of new Board Director
International Ferro Metals Limited (LSE: IFL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jannie Muller to the Board of Directors of International Ferro Metals Limited with immediate effect.
Jannie joined IFL in 2007 as Group Financial Manager and was appointed Chief Financial Officer on 23 July 2009.
Jannie started his career at Deloitte & Touche and after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 he spent two years in London working for international investment banks where he gained extensive experience in financial instruments and international financial markets. Upon returning to South Africa he worked as a treasury manager for the Old Mutual group for four years during which time he qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Thereafter he worked for ABSA Bank for two years as investment advisor. He holds a B.Accounting honours degree from the University of Stellenbosh.
Tony Grey, Chairman of International Ferro Metals said, "Jannie has made a significant contribution to IFL since joining the company and has proven himself to be a genuine asset since his promotion to Chief Financial Officer last July. I am delighted to welcome him to the Board, where I am sure he will continue to demonstrate his commitment to and knowledge of the company."
