Appointment of Non-executive Director

Low & Bonar PLC ("Low & Bonar" or the "Group"), the international performance materials group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Matthews as a non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2015.

Kevin Matthews is Chief Executive Officer of Revolymer plc, an AIM listed company that designs, develops and formulates novel polymers to improve the performance of consumer products within the FMCG and other industrial markets. From 2009 to 2014, he was Chief Executive Officer of Isogenica Limited, a UK based private biotechnology business. Kevin was also a non-executive director of Elementis PLC (a FTSE 250 specialty chemicals company) from 2005 to 2014 including being chairman of its Remuneration Committee.

There is no further information required to be disclosed in relation to Mr Matthews pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 R.
