Board Changes

The board of Nature, the AIM quoted provider of port reception facilities and waste treatment solutions for the oil, marine and process industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Fairweather as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Charles is a chartered accountant with significant business interests internationally, and was a founding investor in the Company prior to its AIM admission in 2001.

The board of Nature also announces that Einar Gamman has retired as a non-executive director due to his extensive venture capital commitments in Norway and the USA.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Eldridge, Chairman, said

"Charles has been a strong supporter of the Company for many years and has provided introductions to various international port locations. We are delighted to welcome him to the board.

Einar has given an effective contribution over these 8 years with the Company and 10 years with our principal Norwegian subsidiary ,having played a key role in our our initial merger with Nature Norway in 2002 and subsequently. We wish him well for the future."

Further Information

Charles is beneficially interested in aggregate, directly and indirectly, in 3,359,883 ordinary shares in Nature Group, representing 8.5 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Of these 210,000 shares are held directly by Mr Fairweather and his wife. The remaining interest is held indirectly through Lynsted Holdings Limited, Lyndhurst Estates Limited, Stanmark Securities Limited and Fairweather & Sons Limited.

Charles Philip Fairweather, aged 60, has held the following directorships or partnerships within the last five years.
