Hargreaves Lansdown PLC04 February 2008 The Board of Hargreaves Lansdown plc is pleased to announce the appointment ofMr Jonathan Davis, as an independent non-executive Director as of 1st February2008. Mr Davis, 53, a former senior business journalist on The Times, The Economistand The Independent, is a regular columnist in the Financial Times and founderof Independent Investor LLP, an independent investment publishing business. Hispublished books include Investing with Anthony Bolton (2004). He has degrees inhistory and management from Cambridge University and MIT, where he wrote athesis on the methods of Warren Buffett. He is currently a Director of Research and Business Development at AgrifirmaServices Ltd, an unlisted investment advisory firm.
