easyJet PLC15 February 2008 15 February 2008 APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR easyJet plc announced today that Sven Boinet (54) has been appointed to theboard as a non-executive director with effect from 1 March 2008. Sven, a French national, is currently the Chief Executive Officer of GroupLucien Barriere, the €1.2 billion turnover company created from the merger ofthe gaming activities of Accor and Lucien Barriere. Previously he held a numberof senior management roles over a 15-year period at the French hotels group,Accor. Sven was also a non-executive director of Lastminute.com from 2003 untilits sale to Sabre in 2005. Sir Colin Chandler, Chairman of easyJet plc, said: "As easyJet expands ever more into continental Europe, it is vital to have aBoard that reflects the Company's ambitions. This year we will open bases atParis Charles de Gaulle and Lyons, so having someone of Sven's experience of theFrench business environment will be invaluable and I am delighted to haveattracted a non-executive director of his calibre."
