Appointment of London-based Managing Director

StratMin (AIM: STGR), the graphite production and exploration company with assets in Madagascar, is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Manoli Yannaghas as its London-based Managing Director. In addition, Chairman Gobind Sahney will become Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.

Manoli brings with him considerable experience with listed natural resource companies, mine operations and project evaluation. He was an executive director of Red Rock Resources for seven years, where he worked on acquisitions and operations in Africa and South America. With a particular focus on operations, he spent three years developing and managing a foreign producing mining asset. In this capacity, he oversaw the redevelopment and build-out of plant and mine through to the start of operations, daily management and oversight of all aspects of the operation including finance, production, personnel and administration.

Manoli is a former financial analyst with international financial consulting firm Greenwich Associates. He also has experience in private equity with small and medium sized businesses where he has fulfilled roles in operations and corporate finance including at board level.

Commenting on the appointment, Non-Executive Chairman Gobind Sahney said: "The appointment of Manoli as our Managing Director completes another step in our development.
