The Board of Tangiers Petroleum Limited (ASX:TPT, AIM:TPET) ("Tangiers" or "theCompany") announces the appointment of Mr Robert Dalton as Joint CompanySecretary, effective 20 February 2013. Mr Dalton replaces Mr Kelvin Tanfollowing his resignation as Joint Company Secretary.

Mr Dalton, the Chief Financial Officer for the Company, is a CharteredAccountant with over 12 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. Hecommenced his career at an international accounting firm and has since gainedsignificant resources experience with Australian and international listedcompanies.
