Appointment of Joel Price to position of COO

APPOINTMENT OF JOEL PRICE TO POSITION OF COO

San Leon Energy is pleased to announce that Joel Price, formerly Siekierki Asset Manager at Aurelian Oil & Gas and currently Head of Engineering at San Leon Energy plc, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer ('COO') at San Leon. Joel will report directly to the Chairman and Board of Directors. He will have operational responsibility across the Company's portfolio - being based in London, yet spending time in all locations where San Leon has operations. Joel's role as COO will consist of leading the implementation of Company strategy, assisting in the development of that strategy, and ensuring a uniformity of approach across the Company's oil and gas exploration and production activities. 

Executive Chairman, Oisin Fanning, commented:
