BBA Aviation PLC19 February 2007 19 February, 2007 For Immediate Release BBA AVIATION PLC Appointment of Hansel Tookes as non-executive director BBA Aviation plc today announces the appointment of Hansel Tookes as anon-executive director with immediate effect. Hansel Tookes, 59, retired from Raytheon Company in 2002 where he was Presidentof Raytheon International. During his career at Raytheon, Hansel Tookes alsoheld the roles of CEO and Chairman of Raytheon Aircraft Company, a subsidiaryfocused on commercial, military and regional aircraft manufacturing. Prior tojoining Raytheon in 1999, he was President of the Pratt & Whitney Large MilitaryEngines Group, part of the United Technologies Corporation. Hansel Tookes is atrained Naval Aviator and Pilot and has also flown for United Airlines. Mr Tookes is a director of Corning Inc., Ryder System Inc., FPL Group and theHarris Corporation. BBA Aviation also announces the retirement of Bob Phillips from the Board. MrPhillips joined the Board in 2000 and is stepping down after the AGM in Aprilfollowing seven years of service as a non-executive director.
