permanent tsb Group appoints Mr Paul Byrne as Group Treasurer

permanent tsb Group Holdings plc has appointed Mr Paul Byrne as Group Treasurer.

Mr Byrne, who is a qualified accountant, joins permanent tsb from Dell, where he was Treasurer for Dell's EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) division, based in Dublin. He also held the roles of Head of Risk Management for Dell and Treasurer of Dell Bank.

Prior to Dell, Mr Byrne held senior executive treasury roles with Chartis (part of the AIG insurance group) and was Treasurer for Merrill Lynch's international banks. Earlier in his career he worked for Avaya, Diageo, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken and Citibank.
