Appointment of Group Finance Director

The Board of Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC is pleased to announce that Andrew Westenberger has agreed to join Brewin Dolphin. Andrew will be taking over from Robin Bayford as Group Finance Director on 1 January 2013, upon Robin's retirement. The FSA has approved this appointment.

Andrew Westenberger was from 2009 until August 2011, Group Finance Director of Evolution Group PLC and a Director of its principal subsidiary Williams de Broe Limited. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, and from 2000 to 2008 held various senior finance roles in London and New York with Barclays Capital.

There are no further details to be disclosed by Andrew Westenberger in relation to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.
