Appointment of Group Finance Director

The Board of Norcros is pleased to announce that Martin Payne, 45, joins the Board as Group Finance Director with immediate effect.

The appointment comes as Nick Kelsall, currently Group Finance Director and Group Chief Executive - Designate, prepares to succeed Joe Matthews, as previously announced, as Group Chief Executive on 1 April 2011. Joe Matthews will remain on the Board until the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting in July 2011.

Martin Payne has most recently held senior financial positions at JCB, the construction equipment manufacturer, and previously at IMI plc, the FTSE-100 engineering company. Earlier in his career he spent six years as Finance Director of H&R Johnson Tiles Ltd., a subsidiary of Norcros. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has an economics degree from Durham University.

Commenting on the appointment, John Brown, Chairman, said:
