Appointment of Group Financial Controller
Fortune Oil is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stanley Chau as Group Financial Controller with immediate effect. Mr. Timothy Shen has stepped down from his position of Chief Financial Officer and has left the Company by mutual consent while still in his probationary period.
Mr. Chau has over 20 years experience in financial management and investor relations in Hong Kong, China and Canada. He is a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also has accounting qualifications from Australia and Canada. Prior to joining Fortune Oil, he was Financial Controller for a China subsidiary of Cheung Kong Holdings Ltd., one of the largest listed companies in Hong Kong. He has also been Chief Financial Officer of Scott Wilson Hong Kong & China and Chief Financial Officer of AES China Generating Co. Ltd., a then-NASDAQ listed company developing power projects in China. Mr. Chau is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
