Appointment of Finance Director

ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM: SVR), a market leader in field management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tajinder Sandhu as Group Finance Director with effect from 9th December 2013. He will be based in the UK and it is expected that the Company will seek to appoint Mr. Sandhu to the Board at the AGM in June 2014.

Mr. Sandhu joins ServicePower from NCC Education, a leading UK Awarding Body specialising in Business and IT, where he was the Finance Director with duties spanning the UK, Malaysia, South Africa and China. At NCC Education, Mr Sandhu managed the team during a period of rapid change, and stabilised the finance function. He oversaw income, budgeting, forecasting, new product development and board reporting. Mr. Sandhu is also a consultant for the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford, a position he has held since 2010.

Since qualifying as a chartered accountant at BDO in 1994, Mr Sandhu has held several roles within the finance function of various organisations. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Sandhu was Senior International Finance and Operations Director and International Director of Tax and Accounting for Wolters Kluwer, a market-leading global information services and publishing company focused on professionals. During his time at Wolters Kluwer he worked across the US and Dutch head offices and also completed an EMBA at Oxford University. At Wolters Kluwer Mr. Sandhu was instrumental in overhauling a number of internal processes, leading to greater efficiencies and success within the division.
