Appointment of Finance Director

("ILX" or the "Group")

ILX Group plc (AIM: ILX), the AIM quoted provider of e-learning software and business training, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Joseph McIntosh, aged 44, as Finance Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr McIntosh qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche in 1994. He held Controller roles within corporations including Sony and D'Arcy, Masius Benton & Bowles and the BBC's corporate finance team before joining an internet start-up team. He has since concentrated on the online/multi-media sector working with private equity owned and quoted businesses. He was instrumental in the development and growth of the multi-media group DCD Media plc holding the positions of Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer. Mr McIntosh has held Main Board Director roles in AIM listed companies since 2003 and joined ILX Group in November 2012.

Mr McIntosh will also assume the role of Company Secretary.

West Park Pictures Limited

This was a subsidiary of DCD Media plc which was put into voluntary liquidation in May 2012. John McIntosh had resigned from all DCD boards in July 2011. There was no material shortfall to shareholders.

Imagestate plc

John McIntosh was a director from December 2003 until April 2006. The principal investor and investment house, Pacific Investments plc, placed Imagestate plc into administration under Kroll in April 2006. There was an undisclosed shortfall to Pacific Investments, which had written down their investment. John McIntosh sought out potential purchasers within the administration framework.

No further disclosure is required under Paragraph (g) to Schedule Two of the AIM Rules with respect to John McIntosh.
