Appointment of executive chairman

Hot Tuna (International) Plc is pleased to announce that Francis Ball, previously non-executive director of Hot Tuna, has been appointed as executive chairman with immediate effect. Francis will take on executive responsibility for the Hot Tuna business in the UK, allowing Geoff O'Connell to focus on Hot Tuna's international business and planned expansion overseas. Geoff has already developed exciting levels of interest in the Hot Tuna brand in key markets throughout continental Europe, and is establishing a powerful trading relationship in Australia and New Zealand. With the recent appointment of Marcus Yeoman as non-executive director, as well as Francis moving to an executive role, it will enable Geoff to concentrate on developing strong relationships in the United States, the Pacific ring, UAE and the Far East as well as building on the distributor relationships already established in continental Europe.
