Omega Diagnostics Group PLC04 April 2007 Omega Diagnostics Group PLC Omega Appoints Fumouze Diagnostics as Distributor for France Omega Diagnostics Group PLC ('Omega'), the medical diagnostics company,announces that it has appointed Fumouze Diagnostics ('Fumouze'), part of theSofibel SAS group, to act as its distributor for France. Fumouze will initially sell Omega's Syphilis test product 'IMMUTREP - TPHA' toinfectious diseases and blood bank testing laboratories throughout France. Created in 1963 and located in Paris, Fumouze is well established and has beenactive in the diagnostics sector for over 40 years. Fumouze had a turnover of 10Million Euros in 2006 and employs 30 staff. It has a customer base of 4,200private laboratories and 800 hospital laboratories. Andrew Shepherd, Chief Executive of Omega said, 'This appointment strengthensour already significant distribution network which covers in excess of 100countries. Fumouze is a well established company with a successful field-basedsales force. This, together with the ability to promote additional products fromthe Omega range, makes Fumouze an excellent partner for success in France'.
