Appointment of Director

PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and innovator of great-tasting stevia sweeteners for the global beverage and food industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Slosar as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2017.

Mr Slosar, aged 60, is Chairman of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited, Swire Pacific Limited, Swire Properties Limited and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited. He is also a Director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and Air China Limited. He joined the Swire group in 1980 and has worked with the Swire group in Hong Kong, the United States and Thailand.

He is a graduate of both Columbia University and Cambridge University.

Commenting on the appointment of John Slosar, the Chairman Paul Selway-Swift said:

 "John was a director of PureCircle from 2007 to 2014 when other business commitments led him to retire from our board. We are delighted that he is now able to return to the board which I am sure will benefit from his experience and knowledge as it has in the past."

A list of Mr. Slosar's directorships over the past five years is included as an appendix below.

No other information is required to be disclosed as required under LR 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.

As at 22 June 2017, Mr Slosar has confirmed that he holds 1,471,202 shares in PureCircle Limited.
