Appointment of Director General at JSC Lenenergo

 

19 January 2015. Moscow, Russia. - JSC ROSSETI (LSE: RSTI) (the "Company"), the largest electricity transmission and distribution grid company in Russia, today announces that Vasily Nikonov, Deputy Director General for Government Relations at JSC Lenenergo, a subsidiary of the Company (the "Subsidiary"), has been appointed Acting Director General of the Subsidiary effective 17 January 2015. The decision to appoint Mr. Nikonov was taken at the meeting of the Subsidiary's Board of Directors held on 16 January 2015.

 

Since 2010, the position of Director General of the Subsidiary had been held by Andrey Sorochinsky.

 

Vasily Nikonov has considerable experience serving in management roles in the sector, including Director General of OJSC Volga TGC, Director of the electric-power development department at Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and Director of the Energy Department at Rosneft.
