Xaar PLC15 October 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 15 October 2007 Xaar plc APPOINTMENT OF MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR Xaar plc ("Xaar" or "the Company"), the inkjet printing technology groupheadquartered in Cambridge, is pleased to announce that Mr.Greg Lockett has beenappointed Manufacturing Director and an Executive Director of the Company withimmediate effect. Greg Lockett, aged 39, has been Director of Manufacturing for Xaar for the pastfour years, having joined the Company in 2002 with initial responsibility for UKoperations and quality control. During his time with Xaar, he has overseen theexpansion of the main manufacturing facility in Stockholm, Sweden, and hasmanaged the successful establishment of the new manufacturing facility inHuntingdon for Xaar's new range of products. Prior to joining Xaar, Mr.Lockett worked in operational and manufacturingpositions for over 15 years with companies including several subsidiaries ofNYSE listed Harman Industries and, more recently, as Deputy Director ofManufacturing at Fujifilm Electronic Imaging.
