Amino Technologies PLC22 January 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 22 January 2007 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC BOARD APPOINTMENT Amino Technologies plc ("Amino"; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadbandnetwork software and systems company is pleased to announce the appointment withimmediate effect of Andrew Burke as a non-executive Director. Until recently, Andrew Burke, aged 45, was at British Telecommunications plc asCEO of BT Entertainment where he devised and ran the company's TV-over-Broadbandinitiative (BT Vision), chaired their Premium Rate Services activity, pioneeredtheir Digital Media Services and led their relationships with the media world. Prior to that Andrew was Director Online Services at BT Retail and wasresponsible for all the value-added services developed to complement broadbandofferings in the UK including VoIP, security and payment services. PreviouslyAndrew was founder and CEO of eVerger, an investment fund created in April 2000by Aegis Group, a leading communications and marketing consultancy, and WarburgPincus, the global private equity partnership, which together committed $100million to the venture. Before that, Andrew was COO of eVentures, the Internetventure capital fund owned by News Corporation and Softbank. He was the founderand CEO of LineOne (acquired by Tiscali), the Internet Service Provider, andestablished News International's initial Internet presence back in 1994.
