Peter, 48, is Chief Executive of Macfarlane Group PLC, the leading packagingsolutions business. He took up this position in October 2003. From 2000 to 2003,Peter was responsible for the US automotive and materials handling business ofBrambles Industries plc. Additionally, he has significant management experiencegained during his time at GKN Plc and its joint venture partners where he workedfrom 1988 to 2000. Before joining GKN Plc, Peter developed a strong sales and marketing backgroundthrough his career at Procter & Gamble and S. C. Johnson and has a successfultrack record of business development, which will prove invaluable to SpeedyHire. Peter will be an additional member of each of the Company's Remuneration, Auditand Nomination Committees.
