Appointment of Director

Nakama Group plc, the AIM quoted recruitment consultancy working across UK, Europe, Asia, North America and Australia providing recruitment and related services for the web, interactive, digital media, IT and business change sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Williams as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Andrea has extensive experience of the recruitment sector in Asia, Australia and the UK having worked across these locations for over twenty years holding senior managerial and board positions at a number of private and publicly-quoted recruitment companies. Previously, she was UK Managing Director at The Ambition Group Plc, the Australian Stock Exchange listed recruitment group with offices in Australia, Asia and the U.K., where she oversaw the turnaround and restructuring of the business.

Prior to that, she was briefly Sales Director at Outsource UK Ltd, a UK based and privately-owned IT recruitment company following an earlier seven-year period of employment with The Ambition Group Pty Ltd holding various senior positions at The Ambition Group's Hong Kong, Singapore and Australian offices. She began her career in recruitment with Michael Page International, Sydney, Australia.

She is currently acting as an advisor to recruitment and other sales/services companies across a range of business issues, but with a specialist focus on strategy setting, growth challenges and pragmatic business financial management.
