Speedy Hire PLC28 November 2007 28 November 2007 Speedy Hire Plc ("Speedy Hire" or "the Company") Appointment of Director The board of Speedy Hire is pleased to announce the appointment of ClaudioVeritiero as Chief Operating Officer and as an executive director of Speedy HirePlc with immediate effect. Claudio, 34, graduated from Birmingham University and joined the InvestmentBanking arm of Rothschild. He joined Speedy Hire in 2004, initially in BusinessDevelopment with responsibility for acquisitions and strategic development. Helater became Managing Director of Speedy Lifting, overseeing the acquisition andintegration of Lifting Gear Hire and built the business into the clear UK marketleader in its field. Claudio will be responsible for all of Speedy Hire's operational activities inthe UK, reporting directly to the Group's Chief Executive, Steve Corcoran.
