Appointment of Director

Hydro International (AIM: HYD), a leading provider of environmentally sustainable and innovative solutions to water management challenges the world over, is pleased to announce that Ian Griffiths will join the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 28th October 2014.

Having spent nearly 30 years with GKN plc, latterly as an Executive Director of GKN plc where he was Group Managing Director of GKN Automotive, Ian brings wide-ranging international experience of the engineering business-to-business sector at both strategic and operational levels, which is directly relevant to Hydro.

Ian has considerable board experience; he served on the Board of GKN plc from 2001 to 2006, and as a non-executive director on the board of Ultra Electronic Communications plc from 2003 to 2012. He has also been a non-executive director of Renold plc since 2010 where he also chairs the Remuneration Committee.
