EFG-Hermes Holdings SAE05 March 2006 Mr. Shayne Elliott will be joining EFG-Hermes in the capacity of Chief OperatingOfficer(COO) of EFG-Hermes Holding as of March 15th 2006. We believe thatMr. Elliot's 20-year experience at Citigroup/Citibank in a wide range ofroles and countries will contribute significantly to the company's operations aswell as supporting the implementation of our regional expansion plans. Mr. Elliott was most recently the Regional Chief Executive Officer of CitigroupGlobal Transaction Services (GTS) Asia Pacific, which encompasses businessmanagement across all aspects of working capital and commercial banking forCitigroup's corporate and institutional customers, including Cash Management,Trade Services and Finance, Custody, Securities and Funds Services. In thisrole, he was responsible for managing a business that covered 18 countries,42000 customers, over 1100 front office staff and generated annual revenues inexcess of US$1billion. He was a member of the Citigroup Asia Corporate andInvestment Banking Management Committee, the GTS Global Management Committee anda board member of NikkoCitiTrust (a Japanese Trust Bank owned 50% by Citigroup).In addition, he was a Citigroup Senior Credit Officer (SCO). Mr. Elliott joins EFG-Hermes with some experience in the Middle East, havingpreviously served as the Country Corporate Officer and Head of CitibankCorporate Bank in Egypt between 1998 and 2000. Subsequently, he transferred toAustralia as Chief Executive Officer of the Citibank Corporate Bank. Mr. Elliott also has experience integrating acquisitions, having been a memberof the Corporate Planning team in the Bank's New York headquarters at the timeof the merger between Citibank and Traveler's that created Citigroup. Morerecently, he was a member of the Citigroup team that led the acquisition andintegration of Koram, a US$3.7bn bank acquisition in Korea.
