Appointment of Company Secretary

Lavendon Group plc, ("Lavendon" or the "Group"), the market leader in the rental of powered access equipment in Europe and the Middle East, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Cole as Company Secretary of Lavendon with immediate effect.

Richard holds a degree in law and has over 25 years experience of providing company secretarial services to publicly listed companies in the UK. He has previously held the position of Company Secretary at UK Coal PLC, Thorntons PLC, Hargreaves Services PLC and most recently DRS Data & Research Services Plc.

John Standen, Lavendon's Chairman, commented:
