Appointment of Commercial and Contracts Director

Paragon Entertainment Limited (AIM: PEL), the attractions design, production and fit-out business, announces that it has appointed Rian Manthey to be the new Commercial and Contracts Director at Paragon Creative Ltd.

Rian is a qualified Quantity surveyor. He has over 13 years' experience working on a wide array of projects, ranging from tunneling, mining, civil & infrastructure works and most recently high-end commercial fit-out in the Middle East. He will bring the strong commercial experience he has gained working in the construction and the fit-out industry over the last 18 years to solve Paragon's past weakness in contracts and commercial management.

Commenting on the announcement, Mark Pyrah, CEO and Founder of Paragon Entertainment said: 

"This is an important appointment for Paragon, the first critical appointment since I came back into the CEO role. My aim is to strengthen our management team and bring core skills into the business. If you assess where our major failures have been over the past five years it is clearly in the contract and commercial management of material contracts. We need people with experience of our unique industry that also have a proven track record of strong performance based results. As our sales order book strengthens we are excited to have Rian join our team."
