Senior Management Appointment

Appointment of Chief Technology Officer

Digital Globe Services, Ltd. (AIM: DGS), a leading provider of online customer acquisition solutions for large, consumer-facing organisations, is pleased to announce that Chad Rycenga has been appointed to the role of Chief Technology Officer ("CTO") of DGS.

DGS is a proven market leader in delivering higher average revenue customers to its clients via the online sales channel. A key source of DGS's competitive advantage in the industry is the Company's proprietary database and technology platform, dgSmart, which has been developed and built up over the past six years.

Chad has been appointed as CTO to ensure that speed, innovation and quality continue to be the pillars of the Company's technology platform, whilst maintaining DGS's focus on driving profitable revenue from its business platform.

Since its IPO in February 2013, DGS has continued to invest in the development of its business, including an enhanced customer support team and expansion of its Business Intelligence, Analytics and Technology Development teams. The DGS board continues to see growing opportunities to apply the Company's core expertise in outsourced technology and customer contact management not only to additional vertical and geographical markets, but also to commercialise the dgSmart technology platform itself through custom software development.

Chad has over 15 years' experience in cable, healthcare and call centre technology. Most recently, Chad held the role of Chief Information Officer at American Support, US-based contact centre service provider, where he was responsible for application support, development and integration as well as network operations and infrastructure. Previous experience include CIO at Cobridge Communications, six years as IT Director at Charter Communications, the fourth-largest cable operator in the US, and a number of years advising Global 2000 and large US enterprise clients on technical and strategic matters.

Hassan Ahmed, who has been in the CTO role for over 3 years, will continue to utilise his experience in technology development, commerce and M&A in high growth companies, including as founder of two online businesses, to manage special projects within the organisation, including acquisition integration work and platform commercialisation initiatives. As stated in the recent trading update, integration of the business unit acquired in November 2013, re-named DGS Edu, is continuing to yield positive results.

Jeff Cox, CEO of Digital Globe Services, commented, "I welcome Chad to the team and look forward to his important contribution in driving our platforms forward. Chad's appointment as Chief Technology Officer is very much in line with our commitment to providing innovative and best-in-class solutions to our expanding range of customers. His extensive technology experience, innovation and deep knowledge of custom software solutions will be invaluable as DGS continues to grow."

Overview of DGS

Founded in 2008 with offices in London, Bermuda, Netherlands, USA and Ireland, DGS is a specialist provider of outsourced online customer acquisition solutions for large, consumer-facing corporations. DGS delivers customers to its clients through optimised paid search, integrated websites and contact centre support, receiving a fee for each customer acquired for its clients.

DGS is seeking to establish itself as the leading international provider of outsourced online customer acquisition services, through its focus on having the premier technology platform for pricing and procuring paid search advertising on a cost effective basis. Paid search refers to the auction process for key search terms that search providers run and in which prospective advertisers, or their agents, compete in order to have their advertising or search results displayed.

By using its optimizing technology platform, dgSMART, and its experience of website management, efficient contact centre operations and other process expertise, DGS is able to bid appropriately and cost effectively for search terms in order to achieve conversion rates that deliver profitable, high quality customers to its clients.

DGS employs approximately 450 staff in Europe, North America and Asia. The Company currently has over 30 direct and indirect client relationships globally, many of which are with companies in the US Fortune 500. In 2012, DGS commenced operations in Canada and Mexico and, in February 2013, its shares were admitted to trading on AIM, raising additional funds in order to support further growth opportunities in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. In October 2013 DGS acquired the education business unit of a San Francisco based online customer acquisition company and began serving educational institutions. DGS has also recently started providing its customer acquisition services to the home automation and renewable energy sector, and is examining additional opportunities in the insurance, retail banking, utility and consumer technology sectors.
