Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

2 April 2014: Auhua Clean Energy Plc (AIM: ACE) ("the Company" or "Auhua"), the AIM quoted environmental technology group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jonathan (Jon) Sumner as chief financial officer of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Jon Sumner succeeds Mr Thng Tien Lung who leaves the Company and also his role as a director of the Company to pursue other business interests. The Board extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr Thng for his significant contribution to the growth of Auhua and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Mr Jon Sumner, who is related to Mr David Sumner, the Company's Chairman, is a qualified finance professional with over ten years' international experience in tax and audit, including positions at Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. He also brings considerable experience in Asia and in the renewables sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Jon Sumner said: "I am excited to be joining Auhua and look forward to being part of the management team as we work to further develop and grow the business."
