Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Spectra Systems, a leading supplier of authentication technology for banknotes, brand authentication and tax stamps, provides an update, further to its announcement on 23 January 2017, on the due diligence enquiries being undertaken by certain of Spectra's customers and the standard regulatory AIM background checks in relation to the appointment of Brian E McLain C.P.A. as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Spectra Systems is pleased to report that Mr McLain is now entitled to carry out his duties. All of these enquiries have progressed satisfactorily, with, in the case of one of Spectra's customers, an interim approval, whilst customary, more detailed enquiries are concluded.

A further announcement will be made when these more detailed enquiries are concluded and Mr McLain's appointment becomes wholly unconditional.
