Appointment of Chief Financial Officer ("CFO")

Alternative Networks is pleased to announce that Gavin Griggs, aged 41, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, with effect from 8 April 2013. He will take over from Charles Baker, who was appointed Interim CFO on 1 January 2013.

Gavin was most recently Group Financial Controller at Logica plc. Prior to that, he held a variety of divisional Finance Director roles at Sodexo and PepsiCo and was Head of Group Finance, Planning and Analysis at SABMiller plc. His early career was with British Sugar, where he qualified as a Management Accountant.

Edward Spurrier, Chief Executive Officer said:

Gavin has had an excellent grounding for this role, and has extensive experience in commercial finance and M&A, as well as over 10 years of senior financial accounting roles. At Logica, whilst Group Financial Controller, he shared the duties of the CFO for a six month period, and I am confident that he will strengthen our executive management team and contribute significantly to the Board."
