Appointment of Chief Financial Officer to the President Energy Group

President Energy (AIM: PPC), the upstream oil and gas company, is very pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Bruce Martin to the post of Chief Financial Officer to the President family of companies.

Bruce, a fluent Spanish speaker, was formerly for 5 years the well-respected Global Finance Director of the Integrated Project Management Division (IPM) at the leading international Fortune 500 Oil and Gas Services Company, Schlumberger. Prior to that, in a 22-year career with Schlumberger, he held at various times the positions of Regional Group Finance Director for Mexico and Central America, South East Asia and Ecuador.

Bruce will commence work with President on 19 June as the Head of the Company's existing finance teams, reporting directly to Peter Levine and whilst based in the UK, will be spending time at the Group's South American operations.

Bruce's full time role replaces that of Richard Swindells who performed a part time, interim role on a contract basis over the last year and who now departs with President's gratitude.
