Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Strip Tinning Holdings plc (AIM: STG), a leading supplier of specialist connection systems to the automotive sector, announces that, following two and a half years with the Company, Adam Levan, Chief Financial Officer, will be resigning from his position on the Board on the 1 August 2024. Adam will remain with the Company until 16 August to oversee an orderly handover.

The Company is pleased to announce that it has appointed Kevin Edwards to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Kevin will join the Company and Board on 1 August 2024.

Kevin is an established finance director with over 25 years' experience working in high growth manufacturing and technology companies, particularly in the automotive sector. Kevin has held a range of senior finance management roles and is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at LightwaveRF Ltd, which was formerly quoted on AIM. He previously spent over five years at Complex Cold Forming Ltd, a specialty automotive component company, where he helped lead the MBO from Melrose PLC.

Kevin began his finance career in South Africa, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, gaining significant accounting and audit experience. He is also a Qualified Chartered Management Accountant in the UK.

Kevin John Edwards, who is 50 years old, is or has been a director of the following companies during the past five years:

Kevin Edwards does not current hold any ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.

Kevin Edwards was a director of Redweb Security (UK) Limited which entered into administration on 14 September 2009 within twelve months of him resigning as a director of the company on 31 January 2009. The aggregate deficit to creditors was approximately £1.6 million of which £1.2 million was to settle loans from the company's largest shareholder who was also the decision maker behind the administration.

Save as set out in this announcement, there are no further disclosures required in accordance with AIM Rule 17 and Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
