Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman
Liontrust Asset Management PLC ("Liontrust" or the "Company"), the independent specialist fund management group, is pleased to confirm that Adrian Collins has been appointed as the Company's non-executive Chairman with effect from 1 January 2010. Bernard Asher, who has stepped down as Chairman, remains a non-executive director of Liontrust.
Mr Collins was appointed to the Board of Liontrust in June 2009 as a non-executive director and his pending appointment as Chairman of the Company was previously included in the Company's interim results statement announced on 25 November 2009.
The Company confirms that there are no further matters to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
