Appointment of Chairman Designate

Leading provider of personalised customer communication services, Communisis plc (LSE: CMS), announces the appointment of David Gilbertson as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate. David will join the Board on 1 March 2017 and assume the role of Chairman following the AGM in May. He will succeed Peter Hickson who is retiring after nine years as Chairman.

David has significant experience of working within businesses involved in marketing services and customer communications, as well as assisting with international expansion. Presently Senior Independent Director of Tarsus Group plc and Non-Executive Director of Incisive Media (Holdco) Ltd, David is also Chairman of a number of privately-owned concerns and has previously chaired several private equity backed companies. His executive career included serving as Chief Executive of EMAP Ltd, now part of Ascential plc and as Chief Executive of Informa plc.
