NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS OF PRESS CORPORATION LIMITED
ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COMPANY
Press Corporation Limited is pleased to announce that the Company's Board of Directors recently elected Mr Simon Itaye as its Chairman effective 26th June 2015. Mr Itaye succeeds Mr Clement Chilingulo who retired from the Board after serving as a director since February 2001 and as Chairman from 2013. Prior to his election as Chairman, Mr Chilingulo chaired the Board's Appointments and Remuneration Committee from 2001. He also played a crucial role during the period Press Corporation Limited listed on the Malawi and London Stock Exchanges.
Mr Itaye has been on the Board of the Company from March 1998 and chaired the Board's Audit Committee until his election as Chairman of the Board. He is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Malawi and a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Mr Itaye also holds an MBA from Thames Valley University. He is currently the Managing Director of Nampak Malawi Limited.
