Board of Directors Appoints Chairman and Vice Chairman

On 7 May 2014, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company had appointed Dr. Jorge C. Rendo and Mr. Alejandro A. Urricelqui, respectively, as its Chairman and Vice Chairman. In addition, the Company informed that it had received a notice from Director Dr. Jorge I. Oría requesting a leave of absence from his position from 7 May 2014 up to and including 30 November 2014, for personal reasons that arose after the Annual Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting held on 29 April 2014. The Board of Directors accepted Dr. Oría's request and decided that Director Mr. Sebastián Salaber should occupy the position of Dr. Oría for the duration of his leave of absence.
