Amino Technologies PLC02 January 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 2 January 2007 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC APPOINTMENT OF KEITH TODD AS CHAIRMAN Amino Technologies plc ("Amino" or the "Company"; stock code: AMO), theCambridge based broadband network software and systems company is pleased toannounce the appointment with immediate effect of Keith Todd, CBE, asnon-executive Chairman and Director. Mr. Todd, aged 53, is executive Chairman and CEO of FFastFill plc; a softwareand services company focussed on the capital markets and non-executive Chairmanof Magic Lantern, a new media company supplying the broadband market. Keith served as non-executive Chairman of the UK Broadband Stakeholder Group forthree years from February 2002. The group included the key stakeholders, bothfrom the public sector and industry and is focussed on identifying actions thatwill accelerate the adoption of broadband services in the UK. He was alsonon-executive Chairman of Easynet plc, a broadband services company, untilJanuary 2006 when it was sold to B-Sky-B and of E C Soft which was sold to CyberInc. in January 2003. He was previously Chief Executive of ICL plc from 1996 to 2000 (now FujitsuServices) and was responsible for the transformation of ICL from a hardwareproduct company to a $4 billion revenue IT services company. He held a number ofother senior executive positions in ICL and GEC Marconi defence businesses,including working in the US for five years between 1981 and 1986. He started hiscareer in the public sector. He was awarded the CBE in June 2006 for his services to the telecommunicationsindustry. He was Treasurer of the Open University for eight years and is a lifetime memberof BAFTA, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Accountants and the RoyalSociety for the Arts.
