White Young Green PLC12 April 2007 For immediate release 12 April 2007 WHITE YOUNG GREEN PLC APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER White Young Green Plc ('WYG'), consultant to the built, natural and socialenvironment today announces the appointment of Lawrie Haynes as Chief ExecutiveOfficer (CEO) with effect from 1 July 2007 when John Purvis steps down from thatposition prior to retiring on his 60th birthday in October of this year. Lawrie Haynes brings with him a wealth of management experience in both thepublic and private sectors. Until recently, he was Chief Executive of BritishNuclear Group and a Main Board Director of BNFL plc. He was previously ChiefExecutive of the Highways Agency and Group Managing Director (Telecoms) ofLattice Group plc. Lawrie has had recent relevant experience in the energy andtransportation sectors, both of which have been identified as areas of growthfor the Group. Lawrie will join the Board on 18 June 2007 and take up the postof Chief Executive from 1 July 2007.
