Appointment of CEO

IFG Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul McNamara as Group Chief Executive and as an executive director of the Group, subject to regulatory approvals. Paul will join IFG on 28th July 2014. John Cotter our Group Finance Director shall continue in the role of Interim CEO until then.

Paul McNamara has significant financial services experience. He is currently Managing Director of Investments and Insurance at Barclays and has previously held senior roles at Standard Life Group, HBOS (now Lloyds Banking Group), AXA UK, McKinsey & Company and Bank of Ireland Group. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK and of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He also holds an MBA from CASS Business School at City University London.
