Millennium & Copthorne Hotels PLC12 January 2007 12 January 2007 Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc Appoints Group Chief Executive Officer Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (M&C) is pleased to announce the appointmentof Peter Papadimitropoulos ("Mr. Papas"), as Group Chief Executive Officer. MrPapas will join the Board on 1st March 2007 and will be relocating to Londonfrom South Africa. Mr Papas (38) has previously been a non-executive director at Peermont GlobalLimited, a company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange which operateshotels, resorts, convention centres and casinos. He has held corporate financeroles with JP Morgan SA (formerly Fleming Martin SA) and ING Barings SA and wasa founder shareholder and managing director of Aquila Growth Limited, a privateequity and venture capital fund listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Hequalified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young in South Africa.
