Appointment of auditor
Ocean Outdoor Limited (LSE: OOUT), a leading operator of premium Digital Out-of-Home advertising in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the Nordics and Germany announces, following a competitive audit tender process, it has appointed Grant Thornton UK LLP ("Grant Thornton") as the Company's statutory auditor.
Accordingly, BDO LLP ("BDO") has resigned from its role as statutory auditor effective 22 October 2021.
As required by section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, BDO deposited a statement with the Company that confirms there are no circumstances in connection with its resignation as auditor that should be brought to the attention of members or creditors of the Company.
The appointment of Grant Thornton as statutory auditor for the following financial year will be subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
