Appointment of AIFM

 

Further to its announcement of 9 December 2021, the Board of The Scottish Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") confirms that JPMorgan Funds Limited ("JPMF") has today been formally appointed as the Company's AIFM. As detailed in the Company's shareholder circular dated 16 November 2021 (the "Circular"), JPMF has delegated portfolio management responsibilities to JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Limited.

 

With JPMF's appointment coming into effect, the Company will now be managed in line with the new investment strategy which was set out in the Circular and which was approved by shareholders at the General Meeting of the Company held last month. Completion of the process of portfolio realignment to reflect the new investment strategy is expected shortly.
