Appointment of a new director
Amigo announces the appointment today of Qammar Jaffri (Qam) to the Board as a non-executive director. Qam is an investment banker with extensive experience spanning London, New York, Singapore, and the Middle East. There is further information on Qam in the Appendix.

Other than as set out in the Appendix to this announcement, there is no further information which is required to be disclosed pursuant to UKLR6.4.8 in relation to Qam's appointment. The Board is satisfied that Qam is independent for the purposes of the UK Corporate Governance Code.
Following the appointment of Qam, the total number of Directors on Amigo's Board will consist of three independent Non-Executive Directors and two Executive Directors.

Appendix
Qammar Jaffri is a seasoned investment banker with approximately 15 years of global experience spanning London, New York, Singapore, and the Middle East. Currently based in Dubai, he leads regional coverage for Standard Chartered Bank's Institutional Financial Markets division across Africa and the Middle East, focusing on sovereign wealth funds, government-related entities, private equity firms, and other institutional investors. He specialises in originating and executing complex multi-product mandates (including fixed income, FX, liquidity, and structured solutions) while driving client penetration and aligning commercial opportunities with macro strategy and portfolio needs.
Previously, Qam held several senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered, including Global COO for the Strategic Investors Group & Financial Markets Structuring in Singapore, where he directed global strategy, risk management, and operational frameworks for a new business segment. His earlier appointments included, loan syndications across ASEAN, Chief of Staff to the Global Head of Financial Markets, and FX sales covering institutional clients in the Americas. His career began in London with roles in Group Public Affairs and as an international graduate in financial markets.
Qam holds an MSc in International Business & Emerging Markets from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Finance, Investment & Risk from Glasgow Caledonian University, underpinning his deep expertise in capital structuring, sovereign landscape intelligence, and C-suite relationship management across emerging and developed markets.
