Havelock Europa PLC17 November 2005 HAVELOCK EUROPA PLC Appointment of a Director Havelock Europa, whose business is education furniture and supplies, point ofsale display and retail interiors, confirms the appointment as a Director witheffect from 16 November 2005 of Grant Findlay, CA, LLB, aged 49. As wasintimated in the Interim Announcement of 27 September 2005, Mr Findlay willassume the role of Group Finance Director with effect from 1 December 2005,succeeding Graham MacSporran, who will retire at the end of this year. From 2002 to October 2005, Mr Findlay was Finance Director of the EducationDivision at Findel PLC, and he has previously acted as Finance Director for twopublicly quoted companies - Charles Sidney PLC, from 1993 to 1998, and TIPEurope PLC, from 1992 to 1993. There are no further details to be disclosed pursuant to paragraphs 9.6.13 (1)-(6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
