Uranium Resources PLC03 May 2005 Uranium Resources plc Management appointments Uranium Resources plc today announced the appointments of Christopher Amies andPaul B. Birman to progress the Company's search for investment opportunities.They will have the title of Joint Chief Executive Officers, but are not beingappointed to the Board of the Company. Christopher Amies worked for international mining concern North Ltd for overseven years, where he held various senior positions in head office divisions,including treasury, internal risk management and financial projectimplementation. Mr Amies took up the position of Senior Management andFinancial Accountant at listed uranium producer Energy Resources of AustraliaLtd, and was a key member of the team studying the various developmentopportunities for the Jabiluka uranium deposit. Recently, Mr Amies has workedas Associate Partner for boutique investment bank Prout Partners, primarily inthe areas of mergers and acquisitions and structured finance. Paul Birman practiced law with Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Australia in itscommercial division and was a member of its banking and finance group. Hesubsequently held a number of senior positions with North Limited in internalrisk management, legal (Legal Manager - Operations) and business development(General Manager - New Business). Mr Birman was seconded by Rio Tinto Limited toQuadrem International, Ltd in Los Angeles, USA, and acted as the Director -Strategic Planning and later Regional Vice President Australia and Asia. Mostrecently Mr Birman has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of theInternational Provenance Registry. The Joint Chief Executive Officers will begin searching for commercialopportunities immediately in accordance with the Company's investment strategyas set out in its AM admission document. Mr Amies and Mr Birman are to presentthe best available opportunities to the Board for consideration.
