SThree plc03 May 2006 Embargoed for 2.30pm 3 May 2006 SThree plc ("SThree" or the "Group") Appointment of Non-Executive Director SThree, one of the UK's leading information, communication and technology("ICT") staffing businesses, announces that it has appointed Alicja Lesniak as anon-executive director with immediate effect. Alicja Lesniak (54) has over twenty years experience in a variety of seniorfinancial and managerial roles within the advertising/media sector, includingseven years with BBDO Worldwide, latterly as Chief Financial Officer for BBDOEMEA and seven years at WPP Group plc, where she held positions as ChiefFinancial Officer for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and Managing Director of JWalter Thompson in the UK. Prior to joining the advertising sector she had helda number of senior positions with Arthur Andersen & Co, having qualified as aChartered Accountant in 1976. She is currently a non-executive director of DTZ Holdings plc. Sir Anthony Cleaver, Chairman commented: "I am delighted to welcome Alicja tothe SThree Board.
