ArmorGroup International plc12 May 2006 ArmorGroup International plc Director of Operations appointed ArmorGroup International plc, the leading international provider of defensiveprotective security and security training services, today announces it haspromoted Nick Powis to Director of Operations with immediate affect. Nick willreport into the Group's Chief Operating Officer and has a global remit to managethe coordination between head office in London and the regional operations. Nick (37) has been with ArmorGroup since 1997 and brings significantinternational management experience, latterly as the Group's Regional Directorfor Latin America since 2004. Over the previous seven years hisresponsibilities have increased from being operations manager in Colombia,Ecuador and Venezuela, through management of the Group's North African businessto coordinating ArmorGroup's entry into Iraq. Nick previously served with the Royal Artillery during the first Gulf war and inNorthern Ireland.
